Yes — BYO wine is welcome at Vivace with a corkage fee per bottle. We recommend calling ahead if you're bringing something special so we can decant or pair courses accordingly. No BYO spirits or beer.
Yes, celebration cakes are welcome. A cakeage fee applies - this covers plating, service, and clean-up. Let us know at the time of booking so we can time the service around dessert.
We accommodate groups of 6-150+ across our four private dining rooms. Groups of 8 or more should book directly rather than online - email info@vivace.com.au or call (03) 9596 9511 so we can match your group to the right room and offer set menu options.
Regular à la carte tables are yours for the standard 2 hours. Private dining rooms and function bookings are held for the length of your event. Chef's Experience tasting menu bookings typically run 2.5 hours.
Yes - we're proudly family-friendly. Our kids' menu features simple handmade pasta, chicken schnitzel, and margherita pizza options at reduced pricing. High chairs available on request at booking.
Free on-street parking is available on Bay Street after 6:30 PM. Additional paid parking is at the Palace Brighton Bay cinema car park directly opposite. Local trams (Route 64) stop at Bay Street corner.
Yes - Vivace has step-free entry from Bay Street, accessible seating in the main dining room, and an accessible bathroom. Please note the private dining rooms have step access; call ahead if you need accessibility support.
Absolutely. We can accommodate gluten-free (dedicated GF pasta), vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, nut allergies, and coeliac diners. Please note dietary requirements at time of booking so Chef Andrea can prepare accordingly.
Smart casual. Vivace is fine dining, but Brighton fine dining - we're not a suit-and-tie room. Think collared shirts, dresses, tailored jeans. Beach thongs and gym wear won't feel right.
Yes - a curated à la carte selection is available for takeaway. Order via the website or phone (03) 9596 9511. Handmade pasta, pizza, salads, and antipasti are all available; some tasting-menu dishes are dine-in only.
Lunch: Tuesday - Friday, 12:00 - 3:00 PM (Express Lunch $20/$30 available). Dinner: Tuesday - Sunday, 5:30 PM - late. Closed Mondays and public holidays unless noted on our GBP profile.
Yes - four dedicated private dining rooms for 10 to 150 guests. Corporate lunches, weddings, engagement parties, milestone birthdays, Christmas parties. Custom set menus, room hire options. Email info@vivace.com.au or see our Private Dining page for room details.
Yes - the Chef's Experience is a multi-course tasting menu by Chef Andrea Serreli, formerly of Grossi Florentino, Scopri, and Sud. Best booked 48h+ ahead. Optional wine pairing available. Available for the full table only (not per person).
Our wine list is Italian-led, with a strong regional focus (Piemonte, Tuscany, Sicily, Abruzzo). We rotate seasonally and host regular winemaker dinners - follow @vivacebrighton on Instagram for upcoming events, or check our Recognition page for past highlights.
