“We really enjoyed this restaurant. The Bayside area seriously lacks restaurants in the top end echelon and this is one of the few that can stand with the best restaurants in Melbourne. I had been to Maze just 3 nights before here and I think the food here was every bit as good. We had the soft shell crab and beef carpaccio for entrees followed by the lamb 5 ways and rabbit. All the dishes were exceptional, the lamb was a standout, one of the best plates of food I have had this year. Unlike many places doing this quality food , the servings are quite large. Service was efficient and friendly , wine list is very extensive with a good representation of European wines although to me the Australian wine selection was a bit unbalanced but you will have no trouble finding what you want. This place gets really busy at least on Saturday nights and table are quite close so expect a bit of noise and hustle. For me, probably the best restaurant at the moment in Bayside . Well worth trying.”
“My partner, my best friend and I visited last night and wow the food was amazing and the service was the best that I have received in ages. The price of the meal worked out to be $80 a head but well worth it. I will return again…Keep up the fantastic work.

” A Class – This place is quality. Amazing risottos and pasta. The starters of crispy breads with olive oil and balsamic vinegar is top shelf. They have great function rooms upstairs as well and run a good show. Definitely fine dining!
“Great Atmosphere, Service & Food – went there with my hubby for a date night and it was fantastic. We sat near the window, it was a hot night and the place was just lovely. Entree was fantastic, some croquette thing if I remember well. Our waitress was lovely and when we ask for an empty of wine so I could have a little bit of my husbands wine ( I am pregnant so only have a couple sips) he brought me the glass with a bit of wine in it on the house. Little things, but so thoughtful. My partner loved the fish, I loved my homemade papardelle. Will definitely be back.
“This was the first time we went to this restaurant, the service was great, the staff were happy and the atmosphere was good. The food was perfectly cooked with excellent presentation. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience. Definitely recommend this place”
“Simply Stunning – I had the pleasure of dining at Vivace Restaurant for the first time tonight and was most pleasantly surprised. We started with Coffin Bay oysters, amongst the best I’ve ever had. The share vegetarian croquettes, amazing! My wife had the hand made papardelle pasta with scampi, very recommendable and I enjoyed a whole de-boned baby barramundi. As our movie time stopped us from having dessert we knew we’d be back to tackle that menu and that menu alone! All in all, together with a well thought out wine list and exceptional friendly staff, I found Vivace to be a breath of fresh air and a hidden gem! As the Governor of California would say ‘I’ll be Back!”

“Could not fault this place in anyway. You must try their oysters with champagne vinaigrette and their tasting plate to share as entree. I wanted to eat all of the homemade pasta dishes & their desserts. Excellent wine list and good value. Looks after its customers.”
